The Landes & Bruyères, Cap d'Erquy - Cap Fréhel nature races take place in an exceptional setting. With its alternation of rocky points, expanses of moorland, dune massifs and mudflats, the Grand Site Cap d'Erquy - Cap Fréhel extends over 4 communes and belongs to the European Natura 2000 network.
The Grand Site Cap d'Erquy - Cap Fréhel is home to a diverse natural heritage, rich in landscape discoveries and encounters with rare and surprising species. It attracts more than one million six hundred thousand visitors every year. The Landes & Bruyères, Cap d'Erquy - Cap Fréhel nature runs are an opportunity to explore the area in a different way and to discover all the special features of this unforgettable territory!
There are always so many nature race fans! The event that attracts thousands of participants every year, Landes et Bruyères, is particularly attractive to those who run the longest distances.
It must be said that the sumptuous scenery between Cape Fréhel and Erquy has no equivalent.

The course runs along the sea between Cap Fréhel and Cap d'Erquy, crossing sandy and pebble beaches, pink sandstone cliffs and small fishing villages.
Departure at 2pm under the Intersport Arch (Plévenon village).
14 km nature race: Saturday 30 April 2022 14:00
Loop around Cap d'Erquy, crossing the town centre to the wild beaches and pine woods.
Departure at 2.00 pm and arrival under the Arch of the Conseil départemental des Côtes d'Armor (port of Erquy)
Corniche Race 6 km: Saturday 30 April 2022 14:15
Circuit using various terrains, bypassing the centre of Erquy via the beach, the coastal path and the neighbourhood lanes.
Start and finish under the Arch of the Côtes d'Armor Departmental Council (sports village / port of Erquy).
Hiking:
Hikers are not left out as there are 5 walks on offer on Saturday afternoon. 2 Nordic walking routes are offered on Saturday morning, 1 sea kayaking route and 3 cycle touring routes are offered on Sunday morning.
Nordic Walking Leisure :
Because there is a strong demand to add a new discipline which is gaining more and more followers and after the first edition in 2015, we propose this year two Nordic Walking circuits, around the Cap d'Erquy.
Nordic Walking 27, 16 km: Saturday 30 April 2022 10.00 am and 10.15 am
Cycle touring: Sunday 1 May 2022 8.00 am
Cycle through the Penthièvre, its coastline from Erquy to Cap Fréhel and also discover its land part as far as Pléven. 3 routes are proposed by the Amicale Cyclotouriste Réginéenne. Passage through Cap Fréhel and Pléboulle for the two longest circuits, near the Château de la Hunaudaye for all ... and return to the port of Erquy.

Hiking :
Nearly 1,500 hikers come from all over France to encourage the runners and at the same time discover a unique site in a very relaxed atmosphere. Five routes are proposed during the weekend.

The coast is even more beautiful from the sea! This hike, guided by the instructors of the Centre Nautique d'Erquy in a two-seater kayak, offers a wild and maritime vision of the Cap d'Erquy.
The departure and arrival are at the Maison de la Mer (Erquy harbour).
